Attestation regarding the completeness of CSR Information

Nature and scope of the work We familiarized ourselves with the presentation of the sustainable developmentStandards, in accordance with the social and environmental consequenceslinked to the company’sactivities and to its commitments,and, where applicable,to the resulting initiativesor programs,on the basis of meetingswith the managersof the departments concerned. We compared the CSR Information set out in the management report with the list provided for by Article R. 225-105-1 of the French Commercial Code. In the event that some consolidatedinformationwas missing,we checkedthat explanationshad been providedin accordancewith the provisions i.e. the company,its subsidiariesas defined by Article L. 233-1 and the controlledentitiesas definedby Article L. 233-3 of the FrenchCommercialCode within the limitationsset out in the CSR reportingmethodology Sectionof the managementreport. Conclusion Based on the work performedand given the limitationsmentionedabove, we attest that the requiredCSR Informationhas been disclosedin the managementreport. As mentionedin the methodologysection, disclosedCSR informationrelates to Groupe BPCE (and not BPCE SA group), the companyconsidering thatsuch disclosure is more appropriate to provide better information. of Sub-Paragraph 3 of Article R. 225-105of the French CommercialCode. We verified that the CSR Informationcovers the scope of consolidation, Nature and scope of the work We conductedapproximatelyfifteen interviewswith the persons responsiblefor preparingthe CSR Informationin the departmentsin charge of collecting theinformation and, where appropriate, responsible for internal control and risk management procedures,in order to: assess the appropriatenature of the Standardin terms of its relevance,completeness,reliability,objectivity,and comprehensiblenature, taking ● best practicesin the sector into consideration, where applicable; verify the implementationof a data-collection,compilation,processingand control process to reach completenessand consistencyof the CSR ● Information and obtain an understanding of the internal control and risk managementprocedures used to prepare the CSR Information. We determinedthe nature and extent of our checks and controlsin accordancewith the nature and significanceof the CSR Information,in view of the company’sspecific features,the social and environmentalchallengesposed by its businessactivities,its sustainabledevelopmentstrategy and of bestpracticesin the sector. Regarding theCSR Information that we considered to be the most important (1) : at the level of the consolidating entity, we consulted the documentary sources, and held meetings in order to corroborate the qualitative ● information(organization,policiesand initiatives),implementedanalyticalprocedureson the quantitativeinformation,checkedthe calculation and consolidationof the data on the basis of spot checks, and ascertainedthat they were coherentand consistentwith the other information provided inthe managementreport; at the level of a representativesample of entities selected by us (2) on the basis of their activity, their contributionto consolidateddata, their ● location and a risk analysis, we conductedinterviewsto verify that proceduresare properly applied and to identify potentialundiscloseddata, and we performed tests of details, using sampling techniques,in order to verify the calculationsand reconcile the data with the supporting documents. The selected sample represents 19% of headcount, 14% of quantitative environmentaldata disclosed, and between 77% and 100% of the quantitative societal data disclosed. Qualitative information: Making energy transition projects a reality; Preventing and managing climate risk; Developing skills to support the Group’s digital transformation and improve customer satisfaction; Objectives for gender equality in the workplace; Incorporating environmental and social (E&S) criteria into financing and investment activities; Implementing CSR policies in sensitive sectors; Preventing corruption.
