Commodore’s Comments:

Commodore, John Anderson

Here it is August already. Even though this is going to be a busy month, it seems that the season is flying by! Keep up the good work that you are all doing. I get a lot of comments from members complimenting us on the good time that they are having this year and it's because of your efforts that this is possible. General Membership Meetings are scheduled for the end of these next two months. Let's be prepared and give the Membership reports on what each one of us is doing in our areas of responsibility. They deserve to know what you, as a Director, are doing for them to make our Club a better place. In addition to the business of the Club, an issue of great importance is the elections which is also starting at the end of this month. Please support those who have stepped up to run for an Office. Encourage those who have yet to make the commitment to help keep our Club running. It is better to give our members choices of candidates rather than a bare bones slate.

Stay active and keep our member's needs in mind. Thank you.

Vice-Commodore’s Comments:

Vice Commodore, Brian McEvoy

Absent, excused.

Rear-Commodore’s Comments:

Rear Commodore, Chuck Stroh

The weeks are flying by. We had an interesting week end. It started out with PC Rick & Jill Romatz and VC Brian and Renee McEvoy as week managers. We had Sand Point come in for the weekend and the weekend was enjoyable. Thanks to Mike Linden and friends for the free Steel Drum music on the patio in the afternoon. John Moore was coaching us on how to encourage people to step up and get involved. Words from the board will help people make a decision to get involved and also become candidates for the Board and Flag.
