showed that at this point we are 14% above the 2013 total. The final plan will be about 42% higher if we stay on target. We are going in the right direction.

Pride of Michigan is up in Alpena. Upcoming events: August 16, the Rubber Band Boat Races will be held at Mac & Ray Harbor.

Correspondence:

Rana Shepperson has requested to collect cans from the island with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Discussion held. Motion: Moved by PC Don Vanover to allow Rana Shepperson to collect cans for one or two weekends or for the entire year if she is willing to do that. Seconded by Pat Carroll. Motion Carried.

Sand Point wrote a thank you letter for allowing them to come to the island.

A get well card and flowers were sent to Sharon Wood for her recent surgery.

A letter was read from Dave Lockhart pertaining to previous bar sales. Discussion held. Topic will be reviewed by an independent committee and presented at the General Membership Meeting in August.

A letter was read from Bill Szkodzinski pertaining to incoming rendezvous on the weekends and other Club issues. Discussion held. A letter will be sent to Bill regarding these matters.

I. CURRENT BUSINESS

Activities - Bob Carnaghi Selfridge Community Counsel is coming to the island on Tuesday August 19. The Lions Club is coming to the island on Wednesday August 20. The Golf Outing will be led by Glen and Shelly Nixon. They are looking for volunteers to help and also donations for the raffle.
