NCYC Regular Meeting Minutes Page 5 of 6

Absent, excused

Transportation – Pat Carroll Fin I was worked on to fix the problems. An oil change and new filter was done. Pat will check on it again tomorrow to assure that it is in proper working order.

Fleet Captain - Ian Blackburn We had 22 boats and 44 people attend the Club Island Rendezvous. The feedback was awesome and I believe everyone had fun. I would like to thank everyone that pitched in and made the rendezvous a success. I would like to send a special thank you to Greg and Yvonne Murray for being the NCYC ambassadors for CRBC. And, I would also like to thank Diane Marten for helping out all along the way. It is sure nice to see the effort and support that people put towards this club. The August rendezvous is fast approaching and we are hoping that it will be as successful as Club Island was. I would also like to remind everyone that we have the September rendezvous on the weekend of 19, 20 and 21st. More details to follow in the near future. We would like to have paid bartenders for Saturday Night, September 20th for the Casino Night Rendezvous, so all members can enjoy the festivities.

OLD BUSINESS

Topic # 1 Generator: The people from Motor City, where we were getting the generator from, were out to give us an estimate on the installation. It was over $10,000 to install it. PC Hugh Vestal contacted Bob Marin, who said he may be able to get us a discount on the unit. He also be may able to help with the installation which would be a huge savings. Ron Kahl will be contacted to install the pad for the unit.

NEW BUSINESS

Topic #1 Election Slate: PC Tom McHugh is getting the slate together. Since this board meeting is earlier than usual, the slate is not complete. There will be a special meeting August 25,2014 at 7:00 at Crews Inn to approve the slate.
