• Memphis Wakeup – www.memphiswakeup.com This website was designed by me because I have too much time on my hands and nothing better to do! Nobody views this site … it is simply my way of relieving a few frustrations on how Memphis keeps “ screwing up ” everything. From time to time, I will (out of desperation) add something to this site! Historic Memphis Website Support – www.historic-memphis.com This is NOT my website, but I would be remiss if I did not mention it. In my opinion, this is the best historic website on any city in the U.S.! Gene Gill, who now is retired and lives in Los Angeles area, is still the originator and webmaster of this site. My wife Carolyn and I have visited him in California. He is still quite active. I am happy to say that I have been a contributor of materials to a few of his web pages. Here are two examples:
