APPENDIX This book would not be complete without an appendix! In 2004 at the age of 60 I discovered that I had been born with only ONE kidney…but I am st ill here. So, I think every book should have an Appendix so here is mine…

My mother was the true historian in the family documenting family relationships, but unfortunately, she never had the benefits of using modern day technology of computers and scanners and digital cameras, etc. Her early research helped me to create some family histories so that future generations can get a better view of who our ancestors were and what they accomplished throughout their lives! It all begins with a family tree…yes tha t is me climbing an apple tree in our backyard at 509 E. Market Street in Bolivar, Tennessee.
