Being Married Again! For a guy who had been a bachelor until age 28 and then getting married for almost 32 years, it was an unlikely event that I would get married so soon again but it happened right out of the blue! By chance, I met Carolyn Louise Wisdom online; she lived in Jonesboro, AR and I asked her for a date. She came to Memphis, and we had dinner at Firebird’s. The rest is a blur…less than three months later, I invited her to go with me to France; I had to help her get her passport updated as she was a Canadian citizen! You see Carolyn was born in Nova Scotia and had lived in Arkansas with her parents and older sister Eva since the age of three. She is still a Canadian citizen. Her mom had never met me, and she told her daughter Carolyn that I might just take her to France and leave her there with those crazy French people! What neither of them knew at the time was that I took Carolyn to the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower and proposed marriage to her instead!
