It's Not About Me

Carolyn said YES…and we got married on Saturday, July 30, 2005, in the park in Bartlett, TN in a private service with only the minister and Dave and Katherine Long in attendance. As I write this book, Carolyn and I have now been married for over 16 years. She just turned 61 and I am 77; if I am lucky enough to live as long as my father and grandfather, we will hopefully make it to 30+ years! Carolyn had one son Bradley by a previous marriage, and I had one son Jay. Both sons are now married with their own families. * Carolyn has a graduate degree in accounting from Arkansas State University (ASU) in Jonesboro, AR. When she came to Memphis, I helped her setup her business doing income taxes. She is now known locally as the MEMPHIS TAX LADY and built up a practice of over 400 clients. Currently, she is trying to reduce the size of her practice as she wants to retire in the next few years!

P.S. I recently looked up the Eiffel Tower Restaurant online, and they now charge $250 per person for a five- course meal; I don’t think I will be going back there even though the food and the experience was superb!
