It's Not About Me

• Plastic Casino Cups: No, I am not a gambler but in the olden days, casinos used to handout plastic cups to hold your coins from the slot machines. Then in the late 1990’s, they began phasing out coin-operated slot machines. Janet and I used to go around to each casino collecting their “free plastic cups with advertising on them”. I now have over 380 cups from casinos in Tunica, Natchez, Biloxi, Las Vegas (downtown & on the strip), Carson City, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Atlantic City, Niagara Falls, Metropolis, IL, and Montreal, Canada!

• B&O China: Janet’s father, Grayson DeVaul , was a conductor on the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) for many years. Janet and I began collecting B&O China and built one of the largest private collections in the U.S. (over 250 pieces); our son Jay now has this collection. Janet had the honor of serving her dad dinner in our home in Plain City on B&O China (his first time ever eating on B&O China) !
