1 or is there any doubt that the discussions of Commission I and it - final decisions contained in the documents drafted by it have, through the intermed– iary of I SO, st rongly influenced the evolution of national specifications on filler metals for oxy-acet ylene welding. It is to be hoped that it will be possible to reach the same results in connexion \Yith other important points within the terms of reference of Commission I, in particul ar the equipment fo r gas welding . The Commission is det ermined to continue to work along the same lines a nd there is no doubt that positive results wi ll be obtained.
