Korean order for Zumbach

Zumbach Electronic has won a contract from Posco Pohang works in Korea for 10 Steelmaster diameter/ profile measuring systems. These new systems will partially replace existing gauges or complete unequipped locations in the finishing sections of their 1, 2 and 3 rod mills. All gauges are equipped with 6 ODAC high speed laser scanners (in 6 axes) delivering 6,000 calibrated measurements per second, as well as with the latest hardware – and software concept. The systems will be fully networked over Ethernet with Posco’s material flow and quality control system. The gauges are extremely compact and require close-to zero maintenance.
