What is the STAR Programme?

The ‘Skills Training Assessment Record’, is a knowledge and skills identification and training programme. Firstly the LEARNER identifies the required skills and knowledge they need in their role by completing a TNA (Training Needs Analysis) with their General Manager or Kitchen Manager. From this an individual learning plan and a verification of current knowledge plan are produced. Working with EXPERTS (Trainers) and an ASSESSOR (General Manager or Kitchen Manager) any gaps can be supported to the required level of skills and knowledge. On completion (once all the elements have been successfully assessed)
