Bill is beginning his second season as a full-time assistant with USD's coaching staff. He returns after a year away, serving thispastseason asOffensiveCoordinatorand Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Redlands. Thisseason, like his first at USD in

Kevin begins his 17thseason on the USD staff. This will be his 14th year as the defensive coordinator for the Toreros. In addition tohis on-the-fieldduties, Kevin is also responsible for recruiting and is the liaison for the Football Alumni Club. Kevin was a standout playerat both Saddleback College, earning MVP honors in 1975,andatUSD,where hewas the Defensive Player of the Year in 1977. He received both his Bachelor of

A 1981 graduate of Occidental, Bill earned his undergraduate degrees in Physical Education and History he completed his teaching credential from Oxy in the spring of I982. His vast coaching experiences includestintsat NewMexico State(1982-85); San FranciscoState(1986); as Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Occidental (1987-90); Offensive Line CoachatCS Fullerton (1991-92);USD (1993) and Redlands.

Arts in Education (1979), and his Masters Degree in EducationalAdministra- tion (1985) from the University of San Diego. Kevin is presently enrolled in USD's Doctoral program in Education. Tim. Kevin and his wife, Mary Ann, have three children: Pat Mike and Mike RISH Receivers Mike is beginning his 12thseason on the Torerostaff. MikeplayedforUSDfrom 1979- 83 and is the school's all-time career leader in three receiving categories: receptions (IOI), touchdowns(18)and receivingyardage(1,722 yards). Mike graduated from USD with an Ac- counting degree in 1984. He is the Assistant Vice PresidentforSecondaryMarketing forGuildMortgageCompanyin San Diego. JACK RUBIDOUX Running Backs Jack returns for his I 0th season with extensive background in coaching at the high schoollevelwithbothfootball andbaseball. He isco-owneroflntegratedSpaceSystems, Incorporated in San Diego. Jack and his wife Gerry have four kids: K.C., Jackie, Lauren and Ryan. KIRK PARRISH ·1 Ends/Running Backs Kirk starts his first yearat USDwhere he will coach tightendsand running backs. This past season Kirk was a graduate assistant at the University ofToledo where he coachedquarter- backs and wide receivers. Prior to that he was a graduate assistant atWashington State, where he assisted with DB's and recruiting. A two-year performer as a quarterback at Central Washington, Kirk received his B.A. in Education from there in 1992. Tim ODER Defensive I.int· Tim starts his 10th campaign with USD and his fifth as defensive line coach. An offensive lineman for two years at

Northern Arizona University, Tim received his B.A. in History in 1971. He coached at both the high school and college level prior to his arrival at USD. Tim is presently a history teacher on the faculty at Fallbrook High School. He and his wife Becky, have two sons, Jason and Ben. Jason is a 1994 graduate of USD. BILL SETTLES Quarterbacks Bill begins his fourth year as USD's

quarterbacks coach. He brings a wealth of coachingexperience with him. Priorto USD, Billcoachedtwelve yearsatPoint LomaHigh SchoolwherehewasPassing Coordinatorand also worked with the backs. Billisa registered principal ofW.M.A.

Securities, a financial products and services company. An All-ClF selection as quarterback at Point Loma High School, Bill played three years at the University ofWisconsin (1965-67). PENN BUSHONG Inverts Penn begins his first season with the

Toreros where he will coach the inverts. He graduated from Cal State Northridge in 1995 with a B.A. degree in History. Penn was a two-year lettermen at CSUN where he played linebacker during the 1992and 1993seasons. PriortoCS Northridge, he played two years of ball at Saddleback JC.

This past year he served as Linebackercoach at La Canada HS and was also the Defensive Coordinator for the JV team. He is a 1989 graduate of Mission Viejo High School. DAl\llAN GONZALEZ Defensive Backs Damian begins his first season with
