The aim of PE is to give students the opportunity to follow a healthy, active lifestyle. There are four
periods of PE per two week cycle and students will perform in two different activities per half term.
These include traditional team sports such as football, rugby, hockey, cricket and netball and
individual sports such as tennis, badminton and swimming. There is also the opportunity to try out a
number of other new activities such as trampolining, OAA, yoga, pilates and lacrosse.
Our philosophy is that there is a sport out there for everyone. We will provide you with as many
opportunities as possible to find it so that you are able to be active in later life.
