Life Long Learning provides an essential aspect of student’s academic and personal development in

Key Stage 4. Students will have one timetabled Life Long Learning lesson each two week cycle. This

will be taught in form groups and delivered by the form tutor.

Students will also take part in five enrichment days which will compliment the material covered in Life

Long Learning lessons. Some of the enrichment days will include offsite visits, for which we will ask

for voluntary contributions. Some of the enrichment days will have a religious, ethical and/or

philosophical focus which is to meet the statutory requirements for the delivery of Religious Education

at Key Stage 4.

Life Long Learning at Key Stage 4 promotes the British Values of democracy, rule of law, individual

liberty and tolerance. Students will also study topics such as the ‘Ricky R’s’, Sex and Relationship

Education, eSafety, and Substance Abuse amongst others.
