As you may know, a statewide superintendent initiative is underway to provide citizens with a
stronger voice in creating education policy and restore local control of Ohio’s public schools.
On June 9, BASA is hosting a meeting to showcase the work that is being done and discuss
ways to strengthen and grow the initiative. The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the
BASA offices at 8050 North High Street, Columbus, OH. All superintendents are encouraged
to bring their school board president and/or school board members.
