Lippincott Procedures
Introduction
Lippincott's Procedures provide detailed descriptions of procedures in a program that allows
users to identify the procedure they need quickly and easily. Nurses can scroll through an
alphabetical list, browse by nursing category or subcategory, or perform a search to identify a
particular procedure.
Why is it required?
It is a product designed by nurses for the nurses, a web-based step-by-step guide to over 1400
procedures and skills among a variety of specialties including medical-surgical, critical care,
obstetric, pediatric, neonatal intensive care and more which helps in performing critical
patient procedures with confidence. It’s integrated learning system provides an opportunity to
supervisor/nurse manager to test nurses understanding prior to the patient care.
Lippincott's Procedures can be used as a teaching tool for nurses and as a training
management system to track skill competencies.
