complications (as appropriate),
special considerations,
documentation (as appropriate).
Images, equipment, charts,
graphs, and tables, and links to
relevant video are included at the
appropriate step in each
procedure.
Each skill has a quick sheet,
check list, supplies, test,
demonstrations (as
appropriate), illustrations**
(as appropriate) and
extended text* which is the
entire skill from start to
finish.
**Equipment, Illustrations,
and Video are is in separate
sections from the skill. So the
user has to click in different
places to see this content,
which must also be printed
separately.
Mosby’s creates a more difficult user
experience for nurses at the point of
care.
Because the organization of Mosby’s
skills varies, users don’t always know
where to look to find the information
they need. And users need to click
multiple places to get all the
information they need (equipment,
art, and video are all in separate
sections). LP contains all of this
information in the procedure.
Mosby’s procedures are also denser
and more confusing to read.
Mosby does not offer customization.
