Branch CPD committees are supported in the running of
their events by staff based at National Office – Sharon Crane,
Senior Advisor, Professional Education & Certification (also
a SPA member) and Anita Rodricks, in her new role as
Professional Education Administration.
Let’s hand over to Anita to introduce herself …
My name is Anita Rodricks and I am married with a 28-year-
old daughter, Tracey. My passions in life are looking after my
family, going out with friends, organising word games and
following the fortunes of the Geelong Cats. We have two
adorable dogs, Mooney and Jimmy (both named after my
favourite Geelong players!).
I have worked at SPA since 2010. Starting my new role as
a Professional Education
Administrator (or
‘PEA’ for short) is an
extremely exciting time
for me. My tasks involve
CPD registrations,
administering the CPD
Events Library, managing
events in iMIS and the
website, liaising with
CPD Coordinators,
assisting with events,
producing speaker
agreements, booking
speakers’ flights and
accommodation etc etc.
There is a lot to learn, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am very
lucky to have Sharon Crane as my boss and mentor as she is
a font of knowledge.
I look forward to speaking with you over the telephone and
meeting you at some of our events.
