poignant for an actor, someone like me, to be
able to sort of shed my skin and do something
that I, you know, would have never been able
to do if it were not for this kind of project that
would allow me to do it” - says Halle.
The filmmakers, Tom Tykwer, Andy
Wachowski and Lana Wachowski prepare a
story that will take audiences not only through
different spans of life but the actions and
choices of these characters and how it has af-
fected each character ultimately. “Much like
seeing the movie,” -says Tom Hanks “you’re
trying to figure out what’s going on here? But
then a light goes off and you realize there is a
connection to the themes that are being ex-
amined. It’s a difficult, complicated blueprint
for a very complicated building. But that was
kind of, like, one of the joys.”
This film validates both Academy
Award winners. “It’s still the fun and joy of
doing it. It’s the greatest job in the world” -
says Tom. “I’m living my life… doing some-
thing I love. It does just feel like fun” - says
Halle.“ -
