the Father and the Son twice in two different times. Responding to the
Father’s call requires complete obedience. Obedience glorifies the One who
called by responding to complete or fulfill what is asked.
God the Father anointed a Son two times in order for them to honor the
Father and fulfill His will. As a reminder then, and applicable today, Jesus
said, “
Though I hav e be en speaki ng f i gura t i v e l y , a t ime i s c omi ng when
I wi l l no l ong e r us e t h i s ki nd o f l anguag e bu t wi l l t e l l y ou p l a i n l y
abou t my Fa t he r
.
In that day you will ask in my name.
I am no t say i ng
t ha t I wi l l ask t he Fa t he r on y our beha l f .
No, the Father himself loves
you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. I
came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world
and going back to the Father.” Then, Jesus’ disciples said, ‘Now you are
speaking clearly and without figures of speech. Now we can see that you
know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you
questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.’ ‘You believe at
last!’ Jesus answered.”
(John 16: 25-31)
The time is now fulfilled, and the words are no longer veiled. Again the
Father speaks through the son using the same precise words Jesus spoke,
but this time as a reminder by the counselor. Another reminder as Jesus
said, “I tell you the truth,
anyone who has f a i t h i n me wi l l do wha t I hav e
be en do i ng .
He will do even greater things than these, because I am going
to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son
may bring glory to the Father.”
(John 14: 12-13)
As an act of perfect faith, the
truth is revealed when spoken on behalf of the Father; it is given as a
reminder; denial is a rejection of the truth by those with little faith.
The World’s Way
Disorder
Justice is proclaimed throughout our country and, perhaps, is desired by
other nations too. However we must question why we’re going downward,
and what must be done for the good of those who do not want to frolic
with the liberal agenda that is sending us down. Of course, Satan, in the
apparent victory, and mocking Jesus as if to say, “You’ll never turn it
around.” Injustice is the order of the day: “Listen to what the unjust judge
says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out
to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
I t e l l y ou , he wi l l s e e
t ha t t he y g e t j us t i c e , and qu i ckl y .
However,
when t he Son o f Man
c ome s , wi l l he f i nd f a i t h on t he ear t h?”
(Luke 18: 6-8)
Faith is not religion,
although most say their religion is their faith, but religion is belief and faith
