industry related app compatible with
Android and iOS smartphones.
The app can be downloaded for free and
offers users readily available information
regarding the full Robor range, as
well as other useful information and
tools applicable to steel products and
services.
The app enables people out in the
field to have easy access, through a
mobile device, to Robor’s steel products
and services, as well as other useful
industry related offerings, such as steel
calculations, steel specifications and
smart tools.
Robor has stated that the app will
undergo continuous improvements and
updates to remain the leading app in
the industry.

Furnace tubes range expanded
Centravis, a global supplier of
seamless stainless steel tube solutions,
has widened its product offering with
extra-long furnace and heater tubes,
with a necessary grain size without
additional heat treatment, destined for
the petrochemical industry.
The company is able to offer clients
six more major heater sizes in lengths
up to 15m, designed for petrochemical
applications: 114 x 6.02 – 14.4m;
114 x 8.56 – 12.2m; 168.28 x 7.11 –
13m; 168.28 x 10.97 – 8.7m; 168.28
x 14.27 – 8m; and 219.08 х 8.18mm –
8m.

improve its offering with a view to size
range, quality and customer service,
regarding furnace tubes as one of the
target product segments.
The company ensures availability
of stabilisation heat treatment of
furnace tubes for 1-4 hours, which
improves corrosion resistance and
agglomeration of carbides, and
prevents precipitation and inter-
granular attack (ICA).
The company also offers eight-week
lead times, effective project support
and a tracking system. Additional
convenience for customers is ensured
via access to MTRs through the
customer portal.
