MBS Logistics China on Discovery Tour
Zweifelsohne ist das Reich der Mitte ziemlich groß – groß ge-
nug, um immer wieder neue Orte zu entdecken. Gesucht wird
in der Regel das alte China, das voller Traditionen, Mythen
und Geheimnisse steckt. Auf die Suche danach haben sich
auch die Kollegen der MBS Logistics in China gemacht. Das
gesamte Team ist aufgebrochen, um Sheshan und Wuzhen
zu erkunden und das „Annual Dinner“ - gemeinsam zu ver-
bringen.
Die Reise startete in Sheshan, das durch zwei Berge und
eine katholische Kathedrale berühmt ist. Anschließend wurde
Wuzhen besucht. Dies ist ein historischer Ort in der Provinz
Zhejiang, der als „Heimatstadt von Reis und Fisch" bezeichnet
wird. Seine natürliche Schönheit und der tiefreichende kultu-
relle Hintergrund zieht viele Besucher an. Alte Holzhäuser und
Wasserstraßen verleihen dem Ort ein besonderes Flair. Dazu
trägt auch die Tatsache bei, dass in der Ortschaft immer noch
altes Handwerk ausgeübt wird; von der Herstellung traditio-
neller chinesischer Stoffschuhe, über das Schneiden von ro-
tem Tabak bis zum Destillieren des bekannten Schnapses aus
Reis und Korn. Die heimischen Spezialitäten des Ortes ließen
sich auch die Kollegen der MBS Logistics in China nicht ent-
gehen. Mit einem Abendessen mit traditionellen chinesischen
Spielen fand ein schöner Ausflug seinen Ausklang.
Undoubtedly the empire of the Mid East is quite large—appa-
rently large enough to be able to discover new places over and
over again. Usually we look for the old China, the China full of
traditions, myths and hidden secrets. The colleagues of MBS
Logistics in China also went in search of this. The entire team
explored Sheshan and Wuzhen and then met for the „Annual
Dinner“.
The trip began in Sheshan, which is famous for two mountains
and a Catholic cathedral. Wuzhen was then visited. Wuzhen
is an historical place in the province Zhejiang, also known
as the „hometown for rice and fish“. It`s natural beauty and
deep-seated cultural background draws many visitors. Old
timber houses and waterways lend a special atmosphere to
the place. The fact that old crafts, such as the production of
traditional shoes made from Chinese textile material, the re-
aping of red tobacco and the distillation of "Schnaps" made
from rice and grain are still practiced there, attracts many tou-
rists. The colleagues of MBS Logistics in China enjoyed the
specialties Zhejiang has to offer and the fascinating trip was
concluded with traditional Chinese games.
