UNVEILING LEVEL 3!
Level 3 is being unveiled in September, and we are excited to welcome you to the newly conceptualized space. This
area offers more than just the existing Business Center and Library services; it has a rentable event space, a reading
area, a silent TV tuned to business news, a grab-and-go F&B area, a variety of seating options, spaces for subdued
conversations, phone booths, meeting rooms, the libraries, quiet work stations, and more.
This new level was designed to appeal to a variety of users who use different areas in The Club currently. The goal was
to create a space that would entice current and potential users, so that The Club is not merely re-creating spaces in
new locations, but rather future-proofing the facilities for the years to come.
INTRODUCING ANDREW BASTIAN
The Club is happy to welcome Andrew Bastian to the team, as the new manager of Level 3. Andrew comes to The Club
from the Compass Group where he was the Hospitality Manager managing JP Morgan Chase Bank’s client, corporate,
and F&B portfolios. Andrew has extensive experience working in the high-end hospitality industry including at the Shangri
La Hotel, Sheraton, and The Sentosa Resort and Spa. In these roles, he managed all event catering, selection and dining
solutions for conference room bookings and corporate events management. Do introduce yourself to Andrew and his
team when you visit Level 3.
READING SPACE
Many Members will be pleased to have a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy reading the paper, browsing the latest
bestseller, or reading on their device. This reading space has different seating options and plenty of natural light, making
it a quiet alternative. With its flexible furnishings, this space can be converted into a rentable event space for Members
looking to host an event such as a business talk, book club meeting, or networking event.
FOOD, FOOD, FOOD
One of the many new aspects of Level 3 is the grab-and-go food area. Chef Malik and his team have created a rotating
menu of delicious sandwiches, wraps, salads, and more, making it easy to have a nutritious snack or tuck into a simple
meal. This area, complete with a commercial-grade Nespresso coffee maker, will allow Members to serve themselves.
CHECK IT OUT!
We’re happy to announce the Library will have a self-checkout station when it opens on Level 3. You may have seen
and used this technology at the National Libraries; it is simple and convenient to use. This station not only makes the
checkout process easier for Members, it also frees up our staff to help Members with queries, reshelf books, and keep
the library running smoothly.
