Where dug-outs are provided only the Named Substitutes, Coach (Manager), Assistant Coach (Assistant
Manager), and persons responsible for the treatment of injuries to players to be allowed in the dug-out, a
maximum of 8 persons. All other persons to remain behind the barriers.
Where a technical area is designated, Law V of the Laws of the Game to apply.
In matches where dug-outs are not provided and a technical area not defined, the Coach (Manager) may
convey tactical instructions to players during the match, however the Coach (Manager) must conduct
himself, at all times, in a responsible manner.
All Clubs must advise the General Secretary of the Association, preferably in writing, not less than SEVEN
DAYS before if they are involved in a County Cup on the scheduled date of the fixture.
7.
ADMISSION TO CUP MATCHES
. Where a gate is taken the minimum charge will be £3.00, £2.00 for
concessions. The charges for admission to final ties will be determined by the Cup Committee.
8.
APPOINTMENT AND PAYMENT OF REFEREES
. In all Cup matches the referee shall be appointed
by the Association. In all matches except final ties, fees and expenses are to be in line with the associated
league fees for their respective competition and where teams from differing divisions playing each other the
fee charged shall be that of the senior team. Clubs competing in the Sunday Morning Senior and Junior Cups
and Sunday PM Cup only shall share Referee fees and expenses. Such fee and expenses shall be paid
promptly at the conclusion of the match.
The Cup Committee may appoint assistant referees in Semi-Final and Final ties. Reserve Officials may also
be appointed by the Cup Committee to all final ties. Where it is deemed advisable assistant referees may be
appointed in the earlier rounds of all competitions.
Referee and Assistant Referees (when appointed) must arrive at the venue for the match at least 30 minutes
before the kick-off.

: - All references to Assistant Referee(s) apply to neutral appointments only.
If the game is postponed or is not played, and the Referee and/or Assistant Referee are in attendance they
will be entitled to half match fee plus expenses. It is the responsibility of the Home Team to ensure the
match official(s) fees and expenses are paid on the match day. The match official must notify the
Association General Secretary within SEVEN days of any club failing to observe the associated payment of
fees and expenses.
In all matches, except final ties, the secretaries of the Home Clubs shall notify the appointed Referee and
Assistant Referee, full match particulars at least 3 clear days before the match. Referees must report Clubs
which fail to observe this instruction. Where assistant referees are not appointed, both Clubs must provide a
suitable Club Assistant Referee. Clubs failing to do so may be fined. Separate changing accommodation
must be provided for the officials appointed to the matches. Match balls and Assistant Referee flags must be
provided by the home team or be subject to a fine of £10 in each case.
In the case of all final ties the competing teams must each provide suitable match balls, failure to do so will
result in a £10 fine.
Referees must report short teams, late starts, abandoned matches, failure to provide linesman etc. to the
Association.
All Club Assistant Referees to report to Referee not later than 15 minutes prior to kick-off to receive
instructions. All appointed Match Officials to wear standard black uniform.

THE MATCH
. Matches shall be played in accordance with the Laws of the Game. If the scores are
level after on completion of the match, the tie will be decided by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark,
as set out by the Football Association Limited. There is no provision for replays.
Matches abandoned through the fault of the clubs shall be dealt with by the Association. The Senior Cup ties
must be completed by the date stated.
If after the provision of 90 minutes, or a match has been abandoned during normal time or prior to the
taking of kicks from the penalty mark and neither Club being at fault it must be played on the ground of the
