What are the benefits?
Lippincott’s Online Learning Centre helps to advance
nurses’ clinical and professional knowledge and
skills. It ensures nurses understand the most current
issues relating to important initiatives such as quality
maintenance and improvement, patient safety,
patient privacy, and professional and ethical issues, as
well as the newest clinical changes and advancements
relating to patient care.
What makes Lippincott’s Online Learning Center
better than other programs?
Lippincott’s Seal of Excellence ensures that the
evidence-based education programs are worthy of
the Lippincott name, the most trusted publisher of
nursing content. Each program contains a series of
e-courses, case studies, competency assessments,
and/or tutorials delivered in easy-to-learn, interactive
formats. The programs and accompanying testing
modules help build nursing staff confidence as
competency, skills, and performance improve.
How does it work?
Facility access to Lippincott’s Online Learning Centre
is free. Once the platform has been installed clinical
educators can purchase modules individually based
on staff need.
• An educator or nurse manager would assign the
program(s) and/or course(s) to the nursing staff.
The user would see that the course was assigned
and then be able to begin work on completing the
course.
• If permitted, a nurse may choose to take an
elective course. Elective courses are designated
from the list of subscribed courses for the facility
by the administrator.
How much does it cost?
Institutional pricing depends on the size of your
facility or educational institution. Subscriptions are
available for either the entire library or as specific
