THE email came through. You have been
invited on a press visit to Italy in June. “Do
you want to go?” It’s a little like asking a
football fan if they want tickets to the World
Cup final.
A visit to the Fainplast factory and a little
sight-seeing was part of the package. How
could I turn this down? I was fortunate to
meet some very genuine and astute people
who clearly cared about the company they
worked for, and held a deep-rooted respect
for its founder.
