An air flow meter is a component that measures air flow. It does not measure the volume of the air passing through the tube, it measures
the mass of air flowing through the device per unit time. This information is then sent back to the ECU so it can calculate the correct fuel
and air mixture to ensure the vehicle runs as efficiently as possible.
