Since the Annual Conference your
board has been actively involved in a
number of areas and I will outline and
refer you in some cases to detailed
information in this newsletter:
Submission of Outstanding Chapter/
Affiliate Award to IAAO: the
deadline for our annual submission
was during the conference and the
required video by myself was filmed at the conference
with palm trees as my backdrop;
Designations: Additionally, final documentation was
submitted to IAAO for designees from Florida and the
consideration for the Virginia Cup Award;
Annual Board of Directors meeting was held during the
conference and new board members: Pat Alesandrini
and John Watterson were updated on our status. The
agenda for the new year was discussed and outlined;
The new FCIAAO website and logo were launched at the
conference and are in place and updated collateral
materials are now in place;
Your Board of Directors met in St. Petersburg Beach on
Saturday, August 2

to plan the year and to tour several
locations in consideration for the 2016 Annual Conference
(the 2015 location has been selected and contracted);
Membership and Sponsor fees were discussed; changes
and benefits were updated and plans for notification of
those changes are underway;

Anniversary IAAO Annual Meeting was attended by a
number of Board Members and FCIAAO members held in
Sacramento, California – August 24 – 27
th
;
The Chapter/Affiliate /Representative Reception was held
on Sunday afternoon at the Annual IAAO Conference and
was attended by your President. Staff liaison David Reed
facilitated an exercise for attendees to bring awareness to
coordination with IAAO and the groups nationally and
internationally;
Exciting news announced at the conference for awards
presented and certifications received by FCIAAO and
Alice Weinberg
