You are unable to perform the material
duties of your “own occupation” for
which you are reasonably fit by
education, training and experience.

unable to perform the material duties of

years, you must be unable to perform
the material duties of “any occupation”

PARTIAL DISABILITY
Cigna will pay benefits to disabled employees in the
event of a partial disability. You may work part-time
and still be eligible for voluntary long-term disability
benefits. After the elimination period, benefits may
be paid to employees who are partially disabled or
who elect rehabilitative employment.
VOLUNTARY LTD PROVISIONS
Your Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits will be
reduced by other company sponsored plans, workers’
compensation, state disability and any social security
distribution you receive.
