Thousands gathered
last month to
watch Dubai Festival City’s annual Dragon
Boat Festival.
The tournament drew entrants from
across the UAE including the Mighty
Dragons from the Crowne Plaza Dubai
Festival City. The team reached the finals

at Al Badia Golf Club? The Festival City
course’s world-class academy offers
coaching for beginners and seasoned
players alike. Featuring a floodlit driving
range, chipping area and practice putting
green, it also boasts the Gulf’s only
TaylorMade Performance Lab, which uses
motion capture technology to analyse
golfers’ swinging techniques. Al Badia
runs several clinics and one-to-one

Afterwards, a barbecue for the 400
participants was held at the Belgian Beer Café,
run by Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City.
Children were catered for with a kids’
corner, face painting and colouring
activities.
