ice-Commodore’s Comments:
Vice Commodore, Brian McEvoy
Welcome back to everyone. Summer is finally here. Renee and I are happy to be here.
Commodore John gave me two jobs this year to accomplish before opening day. One: Lots of
snow for water this spring and I did that job very well. Two: Clear skies, and sunny weather for
this weekend. That was also accomplished. Renee and I are taking notes for next year.
Starting with the Commodore Ball. Looking forward to this year and next year as well. Thanks
to everyone for all your support.
Rear-Commodore’s Comments:
Rear Commodore, Chuck Stroh
I would like to start out by repeating what Commodore John said earlier about thanking all the
men and women who have served our country. That is what this day is about. Sandi could not
be here today because of family commitments. She sends her apologies. I am looking forward
to working under Commodore John and the Board this year. One of the things I have said over
and over is how I loved the volunteerism, the role up your sleeves of all the people who come
out and help. The island looks beautiful, thanks to all who helped. Looking forward to a great
year with all the new members and the old friends.
Financial Report
Treasurer, Frank Corcoran
Frank welcomed all of the new members. Frank did a wrap up of the 2013 financials that were
available on all the tables. Going forward, some of the information looks different. The reason
being is there is more clarity and transparency. One system generates all information for the
club. Frank recapped the income and expenses to run the club for 2014. He did a review of the
balance sheet, cash flows and profit & loss. He also did a summary by class of budget versus
expenses. To keep things on a fun note, Frank did a little quiz by giving everyone the numbers
of the bar, and asked if anyone knew what year the numbers where from. After many guesses,
it was revealed that the year was 1999.
