One thing people probably would be surprised
to know about you:
I was the youngest member
to be elected to the Village of Chapin Board of
Trustees while still in college.
Biggest concern about public education:
Funding for all schools, but especially for rural
schools that depend on GSA and Mandated
Categoricals to serve students effectively. The
lack of support and resources we receive from the
State of Illinois on new initiatives and programs.
Most encouraging thing about public
education:
The hard-working, dedicated
professionals that we have working in our schools
that make a difference in kids’ lives.
