Advanced Microfiber — take cleaning to a higher level with less
impact on the environment and your bottom line.
How does Microfiber work?
The dense construction of split microfibers creates a more efficient
cleaning system through:
• Positively charged microfibers attract negatively charged dust
• Pulls liquid and soil particles away from surfaces
• Surface tension is broken, allowing the option of cleaning with water
or with fewer chemicals.
ORDINARY FIBERS
push and scatter dirt
and moisture
MICROFIBER
lifts and locks dirt and
moisture deep within fibers
What is Microfiber?
Microfiber is the most advanced cleaning textile
available to the Jan/San industry. It is very fine
synthetic fiber composed of 80% polyester & 20%
polyamide (nylon) 100x finer than human hair. The
fibers are split to create microscopic hooks and
increase absorbency.
What are the best applications & benefits of Microfiber?
Many facilities can operate in a cleaner environment by using microfiber
cleaning products. Schools, healthcare facilities, and offices are all
appropriate settings for the use of microfiber wet and dry pads.
Cleaning for Health
With rising concern over indoor air quality,
microfiber cleaning systems continue to be
developed that keep cleaning for health as their
foremost goal.
• Improve Indoor Air Quality – with microfiber’s
superior dust-trapping ability
• Reduce cross-contamination – with a bucketless system
• Improved Ergonomics – lighter weight systems reduce worker fatigue
• See link below for cleaning comparison, microfiber vs. conventional
mops, in a healthcare setting.

Maximum Cleaning
O’Dell’s line of Microfiber cleaning products offer
ultimate cleaning performance where it’s needed
most—schools, healthcare facilities and offices.
Perfect for wet or dry applications, the ultra-fine,
positively charged synthetic fibers deliver deeper
cleaning with maximum dust attraction and liquid
absorption.
Minimum Impact
Microfiber meets consumer demands for higher air quality and
eco-friendly cleaning capabilities. The enhanced dust-
trapping advantages improve overall indoor air quality.
O’Dell’s Advantage® Self-contained systems actually clean
more effectively with 90% less chemicals and water use,
greatly reducing cross-contamination.
More Savings
Microfiber cleaning systems eliminate the need for the heavy, conventional mop
and bucket combination. These systems actually clean more effectively with less
liquids, reducing labor, chemical costs and wastewater. The microfiber mop heads
are easy to launder, can be recycled, and last 5-10 times longer than conventional
mops—saving money and helping the environment.
Less Waste
Make your green cleaning commitment complete with
O’Dell’s Rewind® Mop Recycling Program, the first take-
back program in the Jan/San industry. All O’Dell textile
products, including microfiber, can be recycled, which
saves landfill space, precious raw materials, and energy.
Microfiber Care
Followmanufacturer’s recommended guidelines for water temperature
and detergents.
• Do not use chlorine bleach or strong alkaline detergent.
• Launder microfiber wet pads, finish pads, and
conventional mops separately. Do not use fabric
softener when laundering microfiber.
• Dry below 140º F, avoid over-heating the pads.
Remove promptly from dryer when finished.
• Always launder in a mesh laundry bag
• For best results use a front load washer
• If using a top load washer with an agitator, select the delicate cycle
