From the Editor…
As we enter into the month of February, all can see that we
are defiantly getting into the heart of winter. We have all
learned a new Weather Term from our weatherman – ‘Polar
Vortex’, or as I like too call it…Bi-Polar Vortex, as Mother-
nature can’t make up her mind if she wants to hit us with
subarctic temperatures or multiple inches of snow from week-
to-week. We know one thing? It’s been one hard winter so
far.
I want to thank our New Commodore, John Anderson and his
wife Beverly for kicking off the year with such a ‘beautiful and
wonderful’ Commodores Ball…what a great party they
through, Thank You! Please see the fabulous pictures taken
by member Bill Eden in the back of the Beacon…he really
captured the nights moments!
