The breakdown of non-British nationalities working offshore on the UKCS is provided in Figure 22 below.
The followingobservations in comparison to2012havebeenmade:
•Thegreatest number of non-Britishworkerswas still theNorwegians, followedby theDutch.
•The rankings in the top ten for PolishandAmericanworkershave changed,with thenumber of Polish
personnel increasingby0.4per cent and thenumber of Americanworkersdecreasingby0.2per cent.
•Romanianworkers arenow in the top tenof non-Britishnationalitiesworkingon theUKCS. Thiswas
arguablymore likely toappear in the2015
DemographicsReport
given the change in immigration
legislation,which came into forceon1 January2014, allowingRomaniannationals toworkwithin the
EUwithout theprevious restrictions.
