November/December 2014
Vol 27 No 6
The November Issue
A warm welcome to the latest issue of
Tube & Pipe Technology magazine. This
issue we have features on handling &
bundling technology and advances in
measuring & marking as well as a look at
the Tube Arabia show.
We also have two in-depth articles on ‘Improving the
quality of tube formed products using spinforming’ by
Jeff Mansveld of Fontijne Formitt and ‘Quality assurance
and traceability in drip irrigation pipe extrusion
technologies and production’ by Eberhard Kertscher from
THE Machines Yvonand SA.
I will be travelling to Dubai for Tube Arabia in January for
the third time so I hope to see you there. You can find
information about the show on page 76. It is such a great
business destination and I look forward to seeing how the
show has grown since I attended two years ago.
Next year I will also be making my first visit to Bangkok
in Thailand for Tube Southeast Asia. It has been a while
since I visited Asia so it will be great to catch up with some
of our many readers from Thailand, China and Malaysia.
Next issue we have features on welding technology,
equipment and consumables, automotive tube & pipe
manufacturing and the production of heat transfer tubes
(boiler, refrigerator & HVAC). Please submit your editorial
by the deadline of 7 November to
