Elki Cable is one
of
Turkey’s
leading
companies in its sector
and produces cables
in
accordance
with
international
quality
standards.
The
company
was
founded in 1983 and
since 1986 has been
producing
cables
under the ‘Irmak Kablo’
brand name. It has
satisfied
customers
over the years by
focusing on quality and
punctuality of delivery.
Various cables used in
appliances, consumer electronics products, PCs and energy transmission are produced
in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality system.
All ranges of cables have TSE (Institute of Turkish Standards) and HAR certificates,
enabling it to export 30 per cent of its production to the Netherlands, UK, Germany,
Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Iraq, Lebanon and Guinea.
Elki has 12,000m

of covered production space in Istanbul and Manisa, and employs 120
people. PVC used in cables is also produced in-house, while copper is supplied by local
companies.

Thermcraft patent
Thermcraft Inc has been awarded a
United States Patent for its unique
LQF-technology.
The Liquid Quench Fluidisation
(LQF)
process
was
engineered
and developed by Thermcraft as a
green technology, and is a liquid
quench technology used in the heat
treatments of medium and high
carbon wire products.
The
LQF
is
a
lead-free,
environmentally
friendly
process
replacing molten lead, salt or
fluidisation media. The process is
precisely adjustable for each steel
grade TT-curve and will result in a
higher concentration of the desirable
pearlitic structure.
Thermcraft has designed and built
successful pilot scale production
units, and full-scale production units
will be built for the different product
applications in the wire industry.
