Do you ever post information about your
geographic locations, past, present or
future?
Some social media sites are moving users
towards a geographic paradigm. This can
involve putting your posts and images on a
timeline and inviting you to add more
information, such as the geographic
location you were in.
Why would you want to put that online?
Your real friends probably know where you
were anyway and you wouldn’t want to
tell strangers these facts about you, would
you?
After all, your movements in the past might
serve as clues to your likely movements in
the future.
