Overview
While studying Mathematics students will be expected to develop fluent knowledge,
skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts. Acquire, select
and apply mathematical techniques to solve problems. Reason mathematically,
make deductions and inferences, and draw conclusions.
Comprehend, interpret and communicate mathematical information in a variety of
forms appropriate to the information and context.

As well as studying further topics from
the 6 areas a greater emphasis is
placed on exam technique and revision
strategies in Year 11. A full program
of past paper preparation is embarked
upon in the run up to the exam.
