Life Long Learning provides an essential aspect of student’s academic and personal

development in Key Stage 4. Students will have one timetabled Life Long Learning

lesson each 2 week cycle which will be taught in form groups by the form tutor.

Students will also take part in 3 enrichment days which will compliment the material

covered in Life Long Learning lessons. Some of the enrichment days will include

offsite visits, for which we will ask for voluntary contributions.

Life Long Learning at Key Stage 4 promotes the British Values of democracy, rule

of law, individual liberty and tolerance. Students will also study other topics such

as the ‘Ricky R’s’, Sex and Relationship Education, eSafety, and Substance Abuse

amongst others.

In particular at Key Stage 4, the majority of Enrichment Days will be tied to, and

thus themed around, Religious Studies and will involve trips and activities for
