Fred Krieger and his son Rick founded
Mount Joy Wire Corporation through
the acquisition of an existing National
Standard facility in Mount Joy,
Pennsylvania. This year, Mount Joy Wire
Corporation celebrates 20 years of
manufacturing high carbon steel wire
by expanding its presence into
the European and Asian markets.
To further this aim, Mount Joy Wire has
brought John D Stanaway into the team
as an acting agent overseas. Stanaway
has been involved in the wire industry for
nearly five decades, and is a past winner
of the Unisys/Management Today
Service Excellence award.

John Stanaway to serve as Europe and
Asia’s primary contact for all things
Mount Joy Wire,” says Ty Krieger, VP
of operations. “We know that his
contributions will be instrumental
in developing newmarkets in our time
of growth.”
Mount Joy Wire has a newly designed
website featuring information on core
products, such as spring, brush and oil
tempered wire, and with the facility to
request quotes or make purchases.
