DISCLOSURE OF EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION AND REFERENCES

Human Resources handles all employment verifications and references. All calls or requests for information concerning a current or former associate should be referred to Human Resources.

Routine Disclosure of Information For your protection, ICMA‑RC is stringent about the type of information it verifies and to whom information is provided. Human Resources will verify the following information when asked for confirmation of employment. P P Name and position title, and P P Date of employment and/or separation If an associate has provided a signed written authorization for ICMA‑RC to release information, the additional information below will also be verified : P P Social Security number P P Salary and compensation ICMA‑RC will provide this information to the requesting party. A copy will be provided to the associate when requested. Information pertaining to race, religion, age, marital status, medical condition or similar categories is not disclosed. Disclosure of More Detailed Information Human Resources provides more detailed employment information only when the associate authorizes such disclosures in writing.

Managers are prohibited from providing employment or personal information about any current or former associate unless expressly authorized to do so by Human Resources.

Disclosing Information for Class Action Lawsuits From time to time, individuals may file class action lawsuits against companies. It is possible that individuals or their attorneys may ask that ICMA‑RC provide them with contact information about our associates as part of a class action lawsuit. As part of our confidentiality policy, ICMA‑RC will not disclose contact information for California associates — or any associates — to third parties in the event of class action litigation unless expressly instructed to do so by the associate or required to do so by law.
