Notes on Revealing Attire P P No clothing is appropriate — even a 2- or 3-piece business suit — if, when you lean over or raise your arms, it reveals cleavage, bellies, bellybutton rings, lower-back tattoos, etc. P P In keeping with ICMA‑RC’s corporate commitment to a work environment free of sexual harassment, all sexually provocative clothing is, of course, strictly prohibited. This pertains to business, business casual, and casual attire. Home to Change In an effort to ensure that associates adhere to this Dress Code policy, a supervisor may send an associate home to change inappropriate clothing on his or her own time and at his or her own expense. The dress code policy may be revised from time to time at the discretion of ICMA‑RC. TELEPHONES, VOICE MAIL AND EMAIL Office telephones, wireless devices, voice mail and email are vital communications tools designated for ICMA‑RC business purposes. This section briefly outlines appropriate use of these items. Be sure to refer to the ICMA‑RC Business & Communication Standards Guidebook on the corporate intranet for additional guidance on telephone, voice mail, and email usage. All electronic communications, communication equipment, network and facilities utilized at ICMA‑RC are the property of ICMA‑RC. Communications sent to and from ICMA‑RC property or through the ICMA‑RC corporate email system are not private. Messages may be monitored, copied and forwarded without the knowledge of the sender or the recipient.

Note: ICMA‑RC reserves the right to monitor all email messages that are sent to or from or received from non-ICMA‑RC addresses. ICMA‑RC is required to monitor emails of FINRA-licensed associates relating to ICMA‑RC and any matter that may be regulated by the FINRA or the SEC.

Internet, email and voice mail are to be used for business-related purposes. Non-business-related messages (e.g., special interest messages including birthday greetings, congratulatory messages, special corporate or non-corporate events or party announcements) may not be broadcast corporate-wide without prior approval from Human Resources or Telephony Administration. In addition, email and voice mail cannot be used for inappropriate communications, including personal correspondence, chain letters, racial or sexual jokes, or other offensive material that would violate ICMA‑RC’s Harassment-Free Work Environment as discussed on page 24 or Equal Employment Opportunity & Diversity Polices as discussed page 20. ICMA‑RC prohibits the use of its electronic platform to transmit any messages, whether originating from within or outside ICMA‑RC, that are insulting or offensive, including those that refer to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, personal appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family responsibilities,
