P P Unacceptable container items include: plastic lids, yogurt containers, peanut butter containers, pizza boxes and juice boxes. How You Can Help P P Use the appropriate recycling containers to dispose of your recyclable paper, cans, bottles, cardboard or plastic. Recycling containers are located throughout each floor, and each copier area is equipped with a recycling box for your use. The pantries also contain recycling bins for the various types of materials. P P Once you fill the individual mixed-paper recycling container in your work space, empty it into the centralized recycling boxes in your area. P P If you do not have an individual paper recycling box in your work space, contact Corporate Support Services. P P Be sure to stay informed of other recycling efforts by watching your email and checking for announcements regularly at my.icmarc.org . If you have an ICMA‑RC-issued cell phone or other mobile communication device, or a personal cell phone of your own, you should be aware of the dangers and risks associated with using phones or other devices while driving. The ICMA‑RC Travel Policy addresses the use of cell phones and “hands-free” phone equipment. Because of the importance of this safety issue, a portion of that policy is repeated here. Please be sure to use cell phones and hands-free devices safely and in compliance with local law. From the ICMA‑RC Travel Policy Handheld communication devices, pagers, digital assistants, mobile keyboards, laptops, and any other electronic communication device should not be used while operating a motor vehicle, even if there is no state or local law prohibiting such use. Associates may use these devices only while their vehicle is off the road and parked. Moreover, where laws governing usage of electronic communication devices exist, associates are responsible for adhering to all state and local mandates. Cell phone conversations while driving should be strictly limited and should only take place while using hands-free technology. Because most cell phone plans come with voice mail, caller ID, incoming call lists, etc., phones do not need to be answered while driving; rather, calls should be allowed to roll to voice mail until the drive is finished or you can safely pull over to return the call.
