where A = absolute element content in mg, W = sample weight in mg, and C = element concentration in percentage. To determine an appropriate sample size for analysis, use the following equation if needed: W = ( T × 100)/ C where W = sample weight in mg, T = target absolute element content in mg, and C = element concentration in percentage.
