Extraordinary Members of the Council The following members of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association were appointed as extraordinary members of the Council for the period of office' of the Council: Charles Hyland, James B. Disciplinary Committee The President of the High Court has appointed the following members of the Society to be the Disciplinary Committee for the year 1961-62 : John Carrigan, Desmond J. Society's Dinner Dance The annual dinner dance was held in the Shel- bourne Hotel, Dublin on November 23rd and attracted an attendance of over 300.

the associations in Kerry and Meath are opposed to the introduction of section 31. The bar associations of Tipperary and Wexford are in favour of accountants' certificates. This is apart from the views expressed by members at the meeting. On the motion of Mr. T. A. O'Reilly the President vacated the chair which was taken by Mr. Overend, Vice-President. Mr. O'Reilly then proposed a vote of thanks to the President for his distinguished services to the profession during the year. The motion was carried with general acclamation.
