In Year 3, we were inquiring into the relationships between the Earth, Moon and Sun and we made artworks about these three things. The materials we used are paper, scissors, glue sticks, paint, pipe cleaners, bubble wrap, sponges, plastic forks and a balloon. First, we made the Sun by using a sponge. We put the sponge into yellow and orange paint and then dabbed it on to the paper. Next, we made the Earth by dipping a balloon into green & blue paint and then squished it on to a piece of paper. After that, we used bubble wrap that was painted in white paint and pressed it on the paper to look like craters. Then, we use pipe cleaners to make stars on a black piece of paper. Finally, we cut out the Earth, Moon & Sun using scissors. Afterwards, we glued them to the black piece of paper.
