SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: BR-$250 PERMITS: BR GROUND RULES: Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Feb. 26 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., Feb. 23 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. COMPETITION FORMAT - 70 minimum entries. One go- round with finals (top 8 each performance). Approximately 35 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 8 (will not exceed 8) advancing to a finals during each performance. (The payoff for the long go- round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances). If there are not 8 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 8th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 90% top money, 10% random draw of exemptions NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2017 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2017 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2017 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. If contestant with a medical exemption is drawn (during the random draw of exemptions) his “money won” from the year previous to the qualification category being considered will be used to determine whether or not he will be accepted (if he was injured for 6 months during the 2017 rodeo year, his “money won” from the 2016 rodeo year will be used in comparison to the “money won” from the 2017 rodeo year for the other contestants entered). A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2017 money won. (Only contestants drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls event will not be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out (or VIR) and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out (or VIR) is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non-notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant turns-out of a Div. 1 Event after the stock draw and a replacement is not found, he will be charged a $500 turn-out fine. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count toward the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the

Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. ALL CONTESTANTS - If not enough contestants qualify for the number of places to be paid in an event, the remaining places shall be divided evenly among those contestants who did qualify (have a score), and the money will be posted as Championship points and count towards National Finals Rodeo qualification. If no one qualifies for prize money in an event, the prize money will be divided evenly among all who competed, and this money shall be considered ground money and will not be posted as Championship points and will not count towards National Finals Rodeo qualification. NOTE - The event winner (for buckle, etc.) will be the based on the highest score in the final round. If still tied, the tie will be broken by the highest score in the first go-round. If still tied, the tie will be broken by 2017 money won. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Div. 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2018 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for the PRCA World Standings and the Xtreme Bulls Standings.
