International Night was held, Saturday, April 30, 2016, it is the Trainees Around the World Night to show us their talents, their native dress and their native cuisine. It is always a great evening and we, the residents, are so amazed at their talent. This year was no exception. Our trainees are all so appreciative of our coming out to see them entertain and be so supportive of them. However, we are the appreciative ones of their time and talent. It is the one night we can say thank you for their serving us and catering to all our needs all year long. Edna was the Director, KG was the DJ, Master of Ceremonies was Rohan, Precious and Isabel. All the countries represented modeled their native costumes – a few of the countries were The Ukraine, Spain, Austria, Brazil, Philippines and Africa. The menu was divided into three cuisines: Asian Fusion, Classic American and European, Mediterranean and African. A cute part was The Grill Room Team versus the 19th Hole Team in song, and dance routines. All in all there were 18 acts. It was an enjoyable evening and we hope the trainees realize how much we appreciate their services and desire to be here with us and give up their homeland and all that is familiar to them to be here for a period of time. bobbe wiener
